Kyle's Blessing

We had Kyle blessed on Sunday Sept 28th. Then we had the family over for a luncheon. We had 2 4 generation pictures taken with Kyle, Me, My dad, and My Grandfather. Then we had Kyle, Bryan, His dad and His Grandfather.

Sept 24th we went to the gateway to see the Circus elephants. It sure made me want to go to the circus.

Adam's Birthday

Well, Adam just turned 7 on Tuesday September 23rd. Here is how it went.
After I got the kids out the door to school, I started cleaning there room, it was a Disaster. I had bought Adam a new set of sheets for his bed, so I changed there sheets and washed blankets. Then I sat and blew up balloons and filled his bed with balloons after it was made. When he got home from school he wouldn't go into his room. Neither would Tommy, it was kinda funny. Adam kept asking me to take him to the store to buy him presents. So I told him maybe his dad was stopping at the store on his way home from work. So as soon as Bryan got home, he went running out only to be disapointed that daddy didn't buy him a present. I finally got him to go into his room and boy was he surprised. Then we left and went to dinner. We let him choose where we went and we went to the Chinese Gourmet, one of our favorite places to go. While he was getting a plate I put a present on the spot where he was eating. Then he opened all his presents. When we got home, we had cake and we all sung to him. Then it was almost time for bed. He hadn't seen the sheets yet. After fighting the kids for a half hour to go to bed, I finally got them to go to bed. He was So surprised to see new sheets. I'm sure he had a great birthday, it was like one surprise after another for him.

Why do boys fight?

Well, Yesterday I was in the basement and here comes Tommy, crying. Well Adam punched him in the nose and gave him a bloody nose, and boy was it bleeding. I just don't understand why they have to be so mean to eachother...... I asked Adam why he did it, his response was "he was following us" (him and a friend). Then admitted to punching him as hard as he could. URG.... So I have been cleaning Blood out of my carpet most the morning. I've been wanting to clean my carpets anyway and it did give me a push to get it done. I wanted to get them done before we had Kyle blessed, which we'll be doing in about 2 weeks. I had done my stairs when Bryan took the kids to the family reunion 2 weeks ago, but I have had to redo them because most of the blood he dripped was on the stairs, on almost every stair and on all 3 sets of stairs. He has never had a bloody nose before so he didn't know that he's supose to put his head back, not to mention putting his hand under the blood to catch it.
Now I need to go get more cleaner so I can do more on Monday.

Our New Van

Well, We finally did it. We went car shopping and found a vehicle that will fit our family. After going to about 5 different Dealerships and dealing with a few "pushy" salesmen, we picked one out and brought it home. Its a 2006 Mazda MPV.


It looks kinda blue here, but it is Gray. The boys are really excited to be able to sit in the very back, which is good cuz with 2 car seats its easier to have them in the back.

Kyle's 2 week appointment

Well, I took Kyle in for his 2 week appointment today. I can't believe he is 2 weeks already. He is still quite small, but is up to 8 lbs and 2 oz. They did the PKU poke and he screamed and screamed. The nurse didn't shut the door so I bet EVERYONE could hear him. O'well. I'm glad that's over with. but I still can't believe he is 2 weeks already.

I'm really sad cuz now I have to switch Doctors. With Bryan getting a new job our insurance is changing. We have been seeing the same DR for the last 11 years and has seen all my kids as babies. So next month I will be on the look out for a new Ped/Family Dr. I am happy that I get to keep my same OB. He is a Great ob.
