Bingham Copper Mine

This was our weekly activity. It was a long exhausting day. It started out taking Caleb to the Dr for his 6 month check up. He weighs 20 lbs and is 28 inches long. He is in the 90th percent for both. He got 3 shots, but has been very happy.
We all met up at Sheri's house, sent the kids out the door for school lunch and the Adults, Caleb, Mary and Melanie went to Village Baker for lunch. YUM, they have the BEST sandwiches. Went back to Sheri's house and ate our lunch, kids came back from school lunch so we loaded up to go. On our way out there Wendy's tire lots its tread. So the tire got changed and we all headed to Les Schwab to have it fixed (we were in 3 different vehicles). Les Schwab is WONDERFUL, they gave Wendy 2 used tires and we were back on the road back to the copper mine.

Kyle was SO fascinated with the big trucks. He wanted to go down in the mine. I told him they were working down there and that he'd be squished like a bug, but that didn't stop the "want" to go down there

We heard this big boom and dust started flying on this one area. Guess they were blasting.
After we left the mine, we were headed back home. My plan was to go to Wendy's house and we were going to run to the DI cuz I was looking for a cabinet to put my shot glasses in. As I was driving home, I remembered Bryan didn't have a key to the house. I had been switching out the door knobs so we'd only have 1 key to the house instead of 2, well the Dead Bolts are too big for the holes that are already in the door. So I had told Bryan I wasn't going to give him a key to the house till he fixed the dead bolts. Well I realized that He'd be locked out if I didn't go home. So I had to run home and make sure the door was unlocked. And was nice and gave him a key. So back to Wendy's house I headed, with only 2 kids this time. I just had this feeling I needed to go to the DI last night. Well I had also warned Bryan that I wanted to swap out couches. Well I got looking at the couches and found this one for only 15 bucks. It now sits in my living room and the other one is in the garage, ready for the dump.

This is the Cabinet I found for my shot glasses, it's an old Stereo cabinet. It came with the shelves. I just need to get it cleaned up a bit and get the Shot Glasses in it. Paid 5 bucks. Can't complain.
